Reliable Investor Database

I've used Angels Partners for a few fundraising rounds now. This time I got access to the VC Firm Database again. It's consistently updated, which is key. My last subscription helped me connect with a family office, and this one for VCs was just as reliable. The Investor Tracking feature is still my favorite; it keeps everything organized. Always come back for their consistent service.

Quick access to investor list

Needed to find angel investors fast. Signed up for the Angel Investor Directory. Access was instant. Found several good contacts quickly. Interface was straightforward. Got what I paid for. Good service.

Good data, small issues

I purchased the Investor Database and used the Investor Outreach Tools. The database itself is pretty good, with solid leads and useful filters. It really helped narrow down my search. However, the Automated Outreach feature was a little clunky to set up initially; took me a bit longer than I expected to get it running smoothly. Delivery of the access was immediate, which was great. Overall, it's a valuable tool for fundraising, but I hope they refine the automation aspect a bit more in the future. Price was fair for what I got.

anyone know if they do a Black Friday sale? should I hold off signing up till then?

R Renee Foster 1 month ago
They usually do! I remember seeing a Black Friday deal last year. Could be worth waiting if you're not in a super rush.

I Ivy 1 month ago
Yeah, they've done seasonal promos before, and Black Friday is a pretty common one. Discounts are often in the 15-30% range for those.

Is the investor list actually up-to-date? Don't want to be emailing people who left the firm 2 years ago.

N Neil W. 2 months ago
From my experience, it's pretty current. They seem to update it regularly, which is important for this kind of service.

I've had pretty good luck with the contacts being recent. Obviously, things change fast in VC, but they do a better job than some other platforms I've tried.

are there any deals for new startups just getting going? like a founder discount or something?

K Kevin 2 months ago
Yep, they often have 'founder discounts' or 'startup bundle deals'. Keep an eye out for those on their site or through partner channels.

I got a 'first month discount' when I joined as a new startup. They definitely try to help out early-stage folks.

Thinking of getting the annual plan. Are there usually any discounts for that, or just like monthly stuff?

J James Carter 2 months ago
Definitely. I saw something about 20% off annual plans, I think, when I was checking it out. Keep an eye out for those.

They often have discounts for annual commitments. Also, sometimes 'founder' promotions pop up, those can be decent.

I'm in a small town in Wyoming, would a platform like this even be useful for finding investors? Or is it all big city VCs?

J Josh Silva 1 month ago
It's a digital platform, so location for you doesn't matter much. The investors they list are global/national, not just localized to big cities. You'll find a mix.

D David A. 1 month ago
Don't worry about your location. The point is to connect you with investors wherever they are. It's not like a local directory.

what's the refund policy like if I pay for a year and then decide it's not for me after a month or two?

N Noor 2 months ago
I think their policy usually says no refunds for partial periods of subscriptions, but you can cancel for the next cycle. Best to check their exact terms though.

F Faith K. 2 months ago
AFAIK, once you pay for a period, it's generally non-refundable, but you can always cancel future renewals. It's pretty standard for subscription services.

hey, was looking at this for my startup. anyone know if they do free trials? wanna kick the tires before committing.

R Ryan 1 month ago
Yeah they do! I think it's usually like a 7-day thing. Good way to see if the database is actually useful for your niche.

M Mark Vargas 1 month ago
Can confirm, I got a free trial when I signed up last month. Just make sure to cancel if you don't wanna get charged.

how easy is it to cancel a subscription if things don't work out? not trying to get locked into something impossible to get out of.

N Noor F. 1 month ago
Pretty straightforward. I cancelled my trial easily through the account settings. No hoops to jump through.

I've heard it's simple to cancel. Just remember to do it before your next billing cycle starts.
